Liz is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who specializes in and enjoys working with individuals, couples, teens, first responders, military, veterans, and their families. Areas of specialty for her include trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Liz originally wanted to follow in her father's footsteps of joining law enforcement, so she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Business Administration from Mount Mercy University. After serving for over five years on active duty in the Army, Liz earned her Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Faith-based counseling is an available approach Liz is happy to offer if desired. She holds a Certified First Responder Associate certificate and Certified Trauma Specialist certificate.
She grew up having her father serve in law enforcement for over 25 years. Liz values time with her children and enjoys being in nature whenever possible, especially by the ocean.
