Josh Capper, M.A., AMFT

Joshua Capper is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in first responders, individuals, and couples.  Among his areas of specialty is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Brain Spotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma, attachment issues, domestic violence or abuse, neglect, and relational concerns.

Joshua received his Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Science degree in Psychology from California State University Stanislaus. He also holds Associates's degrees in Fire Science and Business Administration.   

In addition to providing counseling, Josh is a current professional firefighter with experience in all ranks of the organization including at the Chief Officer Level.  He has over twenty-five years of firefighting experience and is a licensed paramedic.
