Sara Dorsey

Sara Dorsey is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals,

couples, and first responders counseling. Among her areas of focus are Post Traumatic

Stress Disorder (PTSD), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Critical

Incident Stress Management, anxiety, blended families, relationship conflicts, and trauma.

Sara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Oklahoma State University and a

Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from University of Phoenix.

Sara is a retired Police Officer/Detective with 20+ years of law enforcement experience. Her

focus was working with victims of child abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence. She is a

second-generation law enforcement officer and is married to a retired United States Air Force

medic. Together, they share three children.
