Sherie Mahlberg, M.A., LMFT

Sherie Mahlberg is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in first responders, their spouses, and their families.  Among her areas of expertise are Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD), Peer Support, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Sherie received a Bachelors of Arts degree from Bethany Colleges of the Assemblies of God and a Master’s degree in Psychology from California Southern University.  Sherie is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree.  As a Christian, Sherie can provide faith based therapy that stays true to Christian values if that is a desired focus of therapy.In addition to providing counseling, Sherie is the owner and Executive Clinical Director of Restoration Family Counseling where she provides leadership, vision, direction, and supervision. 

Sherie and her husband have been married for over 25 years and have three children.  Sherie comes from a public safety family which includes military, police, dispatch and fire.  Sherie’s husband is a fire battalion chief and she has a son who is a police officer.
